The Founder and Creative Director, Jermelle Pitts, drew inspiration for the brand from his mother, as she was the reason he fell in love with beauty and fashion at such an early age. “I think about her generation and group of friends, and I’d describe them all as timeless. I wanted that image and feel for 1969 Beauty. I didn’t want to create a brand that was trendy, but one that was timeless, chic, fun, flirty and here to stay for generation after generation,” says Pitts. He takes pride in his extreme attention to detail and is involved in everything from quality control of the product to the aesthetic of packaging. He truly leaves his mark on each step of the process.
The LA-based brand will feature lipsticks, lip-glosses, lip balms, primers, brow and eye palettes, eye shadows, and two different types of false eyelashes. This collection of cosmetic products enables clients to flawlessly transform their entire look from day to evening.
