How to Create Professional Online Photos: Face The World IRL

Being that we are nearing the last semester of school for many, I decided to write about professional online photos as "selfies" can be hugely horrible at times! I know I have taken awful pictures of myself and have noticed others with blurred features, inappropriate backgrounds or merely bad lighting.

A Facebook or Insta profile photo is easy as uploading your favorite selfie.  However, when it comes to your professional online photo, many soon-to-be grads may not know how to “show up.”

This Spring, Procter & Gamble is launching a brand new program, Face the WorldAussie, COVERGIRL and Olay Fresh Effects with the support of LinkedIn will help educate college students on how to professionally define themselves online to help appeal to prospective employers.

#FacetheWorldIRL - Professional Beauty How-Tos:

For your LinkedIn profile photo or an interview, attached are two must-share beauty how-tos for a polished & professional look.  In just a few easy steps, soon-to-be grads can confidently create a look that will help them “show up” in the right way to recruiters to help land the job. This look is divided into two tutorials:

  • Tutorial 1:  Simple and sophisticated makeup look
  • Tutorial 2:  Professional and refined hair style
