Ok, I admit I want to look like Beyoncé at all given times and I love this step by step breakdown that Sir John created so that we all can learn how to get her Coachella look. I am a huge fan of both of them, both creatively and musically. Two artists in their own right. Just look up #BEYCHELLA // #BKxSJ to see the look for yourself!
GET THE LOOK:
1. Sir John started off the look first focusing on eyes. For Beyoncé’s shadow he utilized a warm, matte terracotta shadow as the base shade. He then mixed two loose glitters together – one in a copper color and the other in an iridescent purple – and placed on the ball of her eyes.
2. Next, he lined Beyoncé’s eyes with a black liner on top and a MAC coffee-colored liner on the bottom. He prefers to do this black/brown liner combo because the coffee brown helps to bring in some softness to the eye, whereas black liner on the bottom sometimes weighs the eye down.
3. For Beyoncé’s lashes, Sir John wanted to give her a super feathery, voluminous look. He first curled the lashes to give them a lift and then applied generous coats of his go-to mascara, L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise.
4. For her skin, Sir John applied foundation and concealer and then created a structural look by contouring her cheeks, eye sockets and jaw line with Tom Ford Bronzer.
5. He then applied highlighter to the sides of Beyoncé’s cheeks (but not the front), bridge of her nose (but not the tip) and her cupid’s bow. For the highlight textures, he used a cream highlight followed by L'Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Shimmerista Powder in Sunlighton top.
6. For lips, Sir John opted for a pinkish-brown lip color that he knew would last throughout her performance. He chose the NEW! L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Les Chocolat Liquid Lipstick in Dose of Cocoa; first lining the lip and then applying the lip color directly from the tube.
7. To finish off the look, Sir John applied All Even Spray Body Makeup all over Beyoncé’s body…from her shoulders to her legs. The long-lasting formula lasted throughout her multiple wardrobe changes.

Delphine Manivet- NYBFW Fall/Winter 2015
Delphine was inspired by the wind. She imagined how her natural fabrics would move as the wind passed through them. I saw in her collection a line for brides that was fluid, modern yet has an ode to the 20's- 50's genres as her hats by Maison Michel, shoes by Repetto and low boots by Huapolandia had a vintage vibe to them. The fashion I witnessed was TIMELESS.
This collection was called Pagan Bride as Delphine was using it's meaning in it's oldest term: the respect for what is alive, beyond the being.
Lead Make Up Artist for MAC Cosmetics Gina Bettelli created an ethereal overall look with Zachary Rej Morad from Warren-Tricomi on hair creating a Pagan Bride with just a few side edgy looking braids. The overall look was on trend and modern, yet still had a vintage vibe to it.

DuJour Media has a Maleficent Moment with Angelina Jolie
DuJour Media Speaks with Angelina Jolie about both her latest role in Maleficent and her collaboration with MAC Cosmetics:
Products
clockwise from top: Maleficent #36 Lashes, Maleficent Eye Brows in Fling,
Maleficent Nail Lacquer in
Nocturnelle, Maleficent Eye Shadow x 4 and Maleficent Lipstick in True Love’s
Kiss.
On Angelina Jolie’s
Maleficent look:
“Maleficent is so magical and
scary, yet she has a beauty about her,” says makeup artist, Toni G. ”Besides her
prosthetics, her eyes were the perfect way to bring her to life. I was very
inspired by the beautiful green, blue and yellow shades of the Labradrite
stone.”
On collaborating with MAC
Cosmetics:
“The eye shadow palette is
perfect for transitioning your makeup from day to night. For daytime, use the
lighter shades to create a soft, natural look. Then amplify it for evening using
the darker hues.”
On bringing the character to
life:
“We chose to rethink the look
rather than redesign it, and because the title role was played by Angie, I
thought the look of the character should reflect her own overall
style.”
I know I cannot wait until May 30th to see this movie! Are you as excited as I am?!
