LASHIFY Announces it's First-Ever Retail Partnership

BEAUTY POP UP ALERT! I love Lashify and it's ease of use and am very excited to tell you of their latest retail collaboration starting on October 7th in the Bloomingdale's 59th Street location!

Lashify, the groundbreaking DIY lash extension system, is creating its first retail collaboration: a pop-up shopping destination located in Bloomingdale's 59th Street store. Located on the ground floor, the pop-up will be open from October 7 through November 3.

"Bloomingdale's is not only a timeless institution, but for many New Yorkers, it's also a tradition," says Lashify founder Sahara Lotti. "Not to mention their new beauty floor is popping!"

For the uninitiated, Lashify is a wholly unique innovation for the lash category. Unlike false lashes, which typically look fake and cause damage, Lashify Gossamer lashes have a thin, flexible base that goes on underneath the natural lash. Application is as easy as using mascara, and Lashify's WhisperLight flexible bond cushions and protects as it holds. Gossamers are cruelty-free and can be stacked for infinite combinations of curl, volume, and length.

At Bloomingdale's, shoppers will be able to discover the brand's award-winning lineup of Gossamer lashes, tools, and accessories—including the NEW "F" Fluffy Gossamer lashes for the ultimate fluttery eye. A pop-up exclusive Black Control Kit with a Graphite Fuse Control Wand (the patented tool for fool-proof application) will be available while supplies last. In addition, a selection of Prismatic Gossamers in vivid colors such as green, blue, and violet offer holiday party-goers a new way to look festive.

Walk-ins are welcome, but for a next-level lash experience, appointments may be booked in advance at https://lashifybloomingdalesappointment.as.me. Services include a 15-minute Lashify express application ($45) and the 30-minute Lashify Experience ($150): a free lash application, mini application lesson, and a Control Kit. Additionally, on October 16 at 6 to 8 PM time, Lotti will make a personal appearance at Studio 59 on the second floor. "Bloomingdale's is chic and luxurious, but also inviting and accessible to everyone, and that's exactly what Lashify stands for," Lotti says. "We offer the best of the best while being inclusive."

The Lashify pop-up shop is located at Bloomingdale's, 1000 Third Avenue at 59th Street, New York, NY and runs from October 7 through November 3. Store hours are Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m.-8:30p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Get The Look: Leslie Bibb at the 76th Golden Globe Awards

Image courtesy of the Golden Globes IG Feed

Firstly, I can tell you that I have been a huge fan of celebrity makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Anderson for years. Secondly, I can tell you that I use Lashify products and absolutely love their look, durability and variety of lash options. Thirdly- can we talk about how gorgeous Leslie Bibb looked last night?!

Celebrity makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Andersen created the skin and lash look for Leslie Bibb on the red carpet tonight at the 76th Golden Globe Awards using Mother Dirt and Lashify products.

Leslie had chosen such a princessy, dreamy dress by Schiaparelli,” says makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Andersen. “It’s busy—in a good way! —and I didn’t want the makeup to distract from it. So we did a classic makeup look where you don’t think about the makeup, you just think about the woman,” she says. The style: glowing skin, a doe eye with loads of lashes, and a neutral lip.

When Leslie arrived at the makeup table, she said that her skin was very dry. “I can fix that!” said Reiss-Andersen, who turned to probiotic-powered skincare line Mother Dirt. First she cleansed Leslie’s face with Mother Dirt Cleanser for Face and Body, then followed up with a few refreshing spritzes of the Mother Dirt AO+ Mist for Face and Body. Then Reiss-Andersen “slathered” Leslie’s skin in the Mother Dirt Moisturizer for Face and Body. “All women love a rich cream but worry that they’ll look like a grease ball,” says Reiss Anderson. “This one feels rich but soaks in beautifully. And Leslie could really tell that they there was a dramatic difference in how hydrated her skin felt.”

Next came a bit of concealer, liquid foundation applied with a wet blending sponge, and a cream, peach-colored blush for a “natural flush to the cheeks,” says Reiss-Andersen. But it’s the eyes that were the focus: Reiss-Andersen applied a cream, taupey-gold shadow on the lids, a bit of terracotta on the browbone for warmth, and a pencil liner on the outer corners to make the eyes look a little longer. “And then I went to town with the lashes!” she says.

Reiss-Andersen used the Lashify at-home lash extension system to create the doe-eyed look. “Lashify is like a wardrobe for your lashes,” she says. “It has everything you need.” She used the most natural, 10mm “A” Gossamers (clusters) for the inner corners of Leslie’s eyes, then moved on to the 10mm “B” Gossamers—“more curled and dramatic,” says Reiss-Andersen—for the rest of the lash line. Then she went back into with three, 14mm “B” Gossamers right at the center of each lash line to create the rounded, doe-eye effect. “Leslie was fascinated with whole process!” says Reiss-Andersen.

As jazz music played in the background, Reiss-Andersen finished the makeup with a peachy taupe lipstick with just a bit of gloss and a light dusting of translucent powder. “The room had a real bridal-party-getting-ready vibe to it,” says Reiss-Andersen. Except that the “groom”—Bibb’s longtime boyfriend, Golden Globe nominated actor Sam Rockwell—was there, too. “He was very cute and complimentary of Leslie,” says Reiss-Andersen. “And Leslie loved how she looked,” says Reiss-Andersen. “Because it’s so classic, it’s chic and a gives a woman a straighter spine.” Perfect for a long walk down the red carpet.

Get The Look: Constance Wu with Leonor Greyl Products and Lashify

I am in love with the Leonor Greyl brand as it is results driven and their ingredients are simply divine. Anything they create, I either own or want to own!

Constance Wu hits peak red carpet glamour at the “Crazy Rich Asians" premiere, wearing ‘limousine lash’ created by celebrity makeup artist Molly Greenwald using Lashify products and sleek, ultra-straight hair by celebrity hairstylist Derek Yuen using Leonor Greyl products.

As the first Hollywood studio film with an Asian-American protagonist in more than 25 years, ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ represents so much more than a glitzy rom-com. So when it came time to dream up a beauty look befitting of the boundary-breaking occasion at the film’s LA premiere last night, celebrity makeup artist Molly Greenwald and celebrity hairstylist Derek Yuen took the film’s star, Constance Wu to the pinnacle of glamour.

For her ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ premiere, Constance asked celebrity makeup artist Molly Greenwald for a “limousine lash” to match the glamour of the evening.

“To get the natural, but lux look, I used Lashify C14 lashes in the center of the eye, tapering down on either side with Lashify C12-sized lashes. I affixed the lashes with a black glue, a trick that creates more depth toward the root of the lashes.”

For celebrity hairstylist Derek Yuen, inspiration for Constance’s sleek, center-parted hair look started with a strapless Ralph & Russo Couture gown, every inch covered in Swarovski crystals.

“Looking at her in that dress, it was about making Constance a Hollywood goddess that is so statuesque and proud to be representing and carrying this film that’s so meaningful to so many people. That’s where all our heads were at without really saying it.”

“To mirror the gown’s clean lines, I opted for a sleek, clean look that emphasized hair health and shine. After trimming the ends of Wu’s hair in the back to reveal just a sliver of skin between the dress line and the hair, I used Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelleon the hair from roots to mid-shaft to help create hold that would last and Leonor Greyl Lait Luminescence Bi-Phase on just the ends to boost hydration; Luminescence Bi-Phase is so great for brittle dry hair to blow dry it and make it really shiny again.”

“After combing products through to distribute evenly, I created a laser-cut center part, using a rat-tail comb. Creating a perfect part is almost a gravity trick. To get it right, I place my forefinger at the center of the hairline and my thumb in the back of the crown, using my forefinger as a guide to push the comb toward my thumb in order to get as straight a line as possible.”

“Once the center part was in, I blow dried the hair on low heat with a in sections using a boar-bristle brush, starting from the back and moving toward the front. I love using a boar-bristle brush with Leonor Greylproducts because it spreads product evenly throughout the hair and gives it such a nice shine.”

“After drying each section, I used a pea-sized drop of Leonor Greyl Éclat Naturel on my hand, then smoothed it over the section of hair for a sleek look that amplifies shine. To lay front sections of the hair behind her shoulder, I sprayed Leonor Greyl Laque Souple directly onto a boar-bristle brush and worked it into the roots before tightly brushing sections back behind the ears.

Once the blow-dry was complete, I set the hair by using non-creasing clips to temporarily clip front sections in place, then used a light mist of Leonor Greyl Laque Souple all over the hair, smoothing any flyaways down with my hand or a brush.

After Constance got dressed, I removed the clips and used a toothbrush dipped in Leonor Greyl Gel À L’Hibiscus to smooth any flyaways along the hairline while boosting shine.

Get The Look: Kristen Bell at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Celebrity Makeup Artist Simone Siegl uses LASHIFY on Bad Moms actress Kristen Bell for 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

“I’m obsessed with lashify lashes. You can’t even feel them on your eyes, and they look amazing on. Super whispy and natural without adding on any mascara. Super high quality. On Kristen’s MTV award look I used the B14 lashes on the outer and C 12 towards the inner to get a nice full whispy look. My new favorite lash system for sure! ❤️”
