Creatures of the Wind: Get The Look from NARS

NARS created the look for the Creatures of the Wind SS‘16 runway show and who doesn't remember the singer Siouxsie Sioux and that glorious band of eye color? If you don't know who she was, you will soon as this year's beauty look for Creatures of the Wind (@creaturesofthewind) was inspired by her and created on the models by Lead Artist Aaron de Mey (@aarondemey1) for NARS (@narsissist).

LOOK: “The look was inspired by singer, Siouxsie Sioux. She always had a very strong eye look - it had the same spirit, but was applied differently each time. The look is very eclectic with a lot of layering, which plays off the layering in the collection. It's punk, tough looking. I loved the richness of the gold against the toughness of the black. It’s an updated, modernized take on eyeliner.”

LOOK: “Skater boys were the inspiration for this look, it’s raw, a little undone and effortlessly cool. The models looked great when they showed up for the casting—great skin, lots of freckles and a left over summer-vacation look to them, so we groomed the brows and gave the cheeks a flushed, overheated look.”
