Get The Look from L’Oréal Paris: Brie Larson, Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts, Rachel McAdams and Heidi Klum

L’Oréal Paris artists brought a lot of beautiful looks to last night's event. Below is a small snippet on how to get the looks....from the artist's themselves!

BRIE LARSON (HAIR)

HAIRSTYLIST: Mara Roszak, L’Oréal Paris Celebrity Stylist

INSPIRATION: “Brie wore a gorgeous, royal blue, custom Gucci dress. I wanted her hair to have a celestial but fresh look to complement the dress. We did a modern half-up, half-down style.”

* Mara started by applying L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Transforming Oil-in-Cream ($6.99) to Brie’s damp hair.

* She parted the hair in the center and then blow dried with a round brush.

* Once dry, she used a ghd platinum styler to touch up the hair and help with any frizz or flyaways while keeping it healthy and shiny, especially with the humid weather.

* She then sprayed L’Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray ($14.99) all over the hair.

* Then, using a ghd curve Classic Curl Iron 1”, she created soft, loose waves throughout the hair.

* Once done waving, she brushed the hair out with a boar bristle brush and appliedL’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Lustrous Oil Serum ($6.99) on the middle and ends of hair for extra shine.

* Next, she took the front pieces of hair by the hair line on both sides and twisted them, bringing them to the back of hair. She pinned in place and then put a piece of fabric that matched Brie’s belt on top of the pins, wrapping the extra hair that was hanging around the fabric.

* Lastly, she sprayed L’Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray ($14.99) all over the hair for hold and L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Nutri-Gloss High Shine Glossing Mist ($6.99) for extra shine.

JULIANNE MOORE (MAKEUP)

MAKEUP ARTIST: Elaine Offers for L’Oréal Paris

INSPIRATION: “The dress is a fantastic, architectural halter with lace and dark jewel detailing - I've never seen anything like it so am excited with how the makeup look complements it.”

* Elaine started by prepping skin with Revitalift Daily Volumizing Moisturizer ($24.99) and Revitalift Miracle Blur ($24.99)

* Overtop foundation, she blended Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer ($9.99) as a spot-concealer, which left a fresh finish in its wake

* For warm contour, subtle shape and definition, Elaine opted for Infallible Pro Contour Palette ($12.99) all over the face

* Before applying Visible Lift Blur Blush in Soft Pink ($12.99) to cheeks, Elaine worked True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator in Golden ($12.99) onto the cheekbones and bridge of nose for “lit from within” results

* Elaine turned to Colour Riche Eye Shadow ($5.99) in Paris Beach to neutralize and highlight the browbone. On lids, she blended a combination of shadeQuartz Fume and Infallible 24H Eye Shadow in Eternal Black ($7.99), pressing both in with a dampened brush and resulting in a shine that played into Julianne’s dress

* Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter ($9.99) was used in waterlines to sharpen up natural eye shape, and lashlines were accented with brown liner

* Elaine curled lashes, applied a few coats of primer and topped off with Voluminous Superstar Mascara ($10.99)

* After using a lip stain for shape, Elaine topped off with Colour Riche Collection Exclusive Lipstick ($8.99) in Jennifer’s Nude for neutral, nude coverage

NAOMI WATTS (HAIR)

HAIR STYLIST: Cervando for L’Oréal Paris

INSPIRATION: “Naomi wore this beautiful, art-deco, sequined dress. We wanted her hair to have a classic 1930s Hollywood vibe with a modern twist.”

* Cervando started by applying L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Volume Inject Mousse ($4.99) to damp hair, combing through so the product is evenly distributed throughout the hair

* He then used L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Sleek It Frizz Vanisher Cream ($4.99) on the ends of hair and parted hair to the side

* Next, Cervando rough dried hair about 90% of the way to create a lot of volume, texture and density

* After blow drying, he used a small 1 inch round boar bristle brush and dried hair section by section, making sure to blow hair back and away from the face

* Once done with drying the front sections, Cervando rolled hair into 3 Velcro rollers for added body, then let hair set for 20 minutes

* After removing the rollers, he combed through hair using a wire brush, blending hair from top to bottom

* Next, he used a flat iron to wave the hair and locked in the look with L’Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray ($14.99)

NAOMI WATTS (MAKEUP)

MAKEUP ARTIST: Hung Vanngo for L’Oréal Paris

INSPIRATION: “Tonight, the inspiration for Naomi’s look was a flashback to the 1970’s with a smoky eye and vibrant lip. We opted for a grey, slate smoky eye and a red, velvety lip.”

* Hung started by prepping Naomi’s skin with Revitalift Triple Power Serum ($24.99) and Revitalift Triple Power Moisturizer ($24.99) all over.

* He then focused on Naomi’s base. First, Hung used True Match Concealer ($8.95)to even out Naomi’s skin tone. He then applied True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation ($16.99) to give Naomi’s skin a fresh, dewy finish.

* Hung then used the Infallible Pro-Contour Kit ($12.99) to contour Naomi’s cheeks. To add a soft pop of color on top, he used True Match Blush in Baby Blossom ($8.95).

* He then groomed her eyebrows withBrow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit ($14.99).

* For Naomi’s eyes, Hung used Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in Slate ($8.95) on her upper lash line. He blended the eyeliner on the lash line in an outward motion.

* To continue the grey smoky eye, he applied Colour Riche Dual Effects Eye Shadow in Incredible Grey ($9.99), using only the grey and silver shades in the palette.

* Next, he finished off the eye look withVoluminous Butterfly Sculpt Mascara ($9.99; launching March/April) on Naomi’s lashes.

* To complete the look, Hung gave Naomi a bright red lip with Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss in Rouge Envy ($9.99).

RACHEL MCADAMS (NAILS)

NAIL ARTIST: Tom Bachik, L’Oréal Paris Global Nail Artist

INSPIRATION: “Rachel’s dress is a deep forest green that is super classic and elegant. For the nails, we wanted to give her an elegant, glamorous look. We went with a full coverage nude to complement her green dress, as well as her look for the after parties.”

* Rachel’s nail look featured a custom blended color. You can recreate this look at home using Infallible Pro-Last Nail Color in both Passionate Petal and Forever Mink ($9.99 each).

* To start, apply one thin coat of Passionate Petal as the base color on the nail. This gives the nail a pretty pink undertone.

* Next, apply a thin coat of Forever Mink on top of the dry, pink nail. The end result is a full coverage nude, with a modern twist and pop of pink.

* Then, apply the clear topcoat from Infallible Pro-Last Nail Color to give the nail amplified color and shine.

* To finish the look, apply a couple drops ofAge Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Facial Oil ($24.99) to rehydrate the cuticles and bring an overall glow.

HEIDI KLUM (NAILS)

NAIL ARTIST: Tom Bachik, L’Oréal Paris Global Nail Artist

INSPRATION: “Heidi’s dress for the carpet is a beautiful purple color. We opted for a classic, full coverage nude, channeling the 1960’s Bridget Bardot era. The nude that we chose was a tonal, skin tone nude."

* Heidi’s nail look featured a custom blended color. You can recreate this look at home using Color Riche Nail Color in Walk on the Beach ($5.99).

Get The Looks with L'Oréal Paris: 2016 Golden Globe Awards

Oh my! The L'Oréal Paris #WorthSaying hashtag was a beautiful way to interact with the show last night as I watched some of my favorite actors at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards. I also must confess that I thought Jennifer Lopez looked STUNNING and her team is always spot on. I also have a personal love for Julianne Moore and her Make Up Artist, Elaine Offers. Julianne is a timeless beauty and I was wowed by how elegant the looks were from last night's show.

A HUGE shout out from me to all of the Hair Stylists, Make Up Artists, Manicurists, Wardrobe Stylists as they are the ones that help create what the public sees in their most favorite celebrities. They are the ones, too, working non-stop along with their famous counterparts!

Here are the 2016 Golden Globes “get the looks” on behalf of L’Oréal Paris …

In addition, L’Oréal Paris celebrity hair colorist Kari Hill brought Taylor Schilling from signature blonde to the darker hue debuted on Globes night!

MAKEUP ARTIST: Elaine Offers for L’Oréal Paris

INSPIRATION: “Julianne is wearing an amazing blue sequin Tom Ford dress – just liquidy and glamourous. She didn’t want anything too dark, smoky or matchy-matchy to compete with the dress, so we went with a more natural, fresh eye and lip.”

· Elaine started by prepping skin with Revitalift Volume Filler Serum ($24.99), and then added bit of Revitalift Daily Volumizing Moisturizer ($24.99); both set in while Julianne got her hair done

· To control shine, Elaine tapped Revitalift Miracle Blur ($24.99) just in the T-zone and chin areas

· Next, she blended True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup ($12.95) in Porcelain/Light Ivory all over the face; it’s a personal favorite of hers for its easy buildability. To further conceal and brighten, she turned to Visible Lift Serum Absolute Concealer ($12.99) in Fair, and added warmth, shape and dimension to the jaw and cheekbone with Infalillible Pro-Contour Palette ($12.99)

· On the apples of Julianne’s cheeks, Elaine combined Visible Lift Blur Blush ($12.99) in Soft Berry and Soft Pink ($12.99), and accented the inner eye and bridge of nose with True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator in Golden ($12.99)

· Elaine shaded eyelids with dusty, rose tones from the Colour Riche La Palette in Nude 2 ($19.99), and for added twinkle, Infallible 24H Eye Shadow in Endless Pearl ($12.99) was applied in inner corners

· To create depth, she lined tight to lashes with Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Charcoal ($9.99) and smudged with a brush. Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Brown was used in waterlines to sharpen up natural eye shape

· Elaine curled lashes, applied a few coats of primer and topped off with Voluminous Superstar Mascara ($10.99)

· Lips were finished off with a hydrated kiss of nude-pink color using Colour Riche Lipcolor in Gilded Pink ($8.95)

JULIANNE MOORE
(NAILS)

MANICURIST: L’Oréal Paris Global Manicurist, Tom Bachik

INSPIRATION: “Julianne wore a dark blue, beautiful Tom Ford gown on the carpet tonight. We wanted to contrast the gorgeous hue and keep her nails simple with a full coverage nude shade.”

· First, Tom filed nails into a classic round shape

· He next applied L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail Color in Walk on the Beach ($5.99) to Julianne’s nails. Once dry, he applied L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail Color in Top of the Line ($5.99) for the top coat

· Tom advises maintaining a manicure using L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Facial Oil ($24.99); a drop on each nail 1-2 daily will keep nail color looking fresh and shiny, and cuticles hydrated

JENNIFER LOPEZ (HAIR)

HAIR STYLIST: Lorenzo Martin for L’Oreal Paris

INSPIRATION: “This evening, Jennifer went for a classic Hollywood look with her hair slightly flipped and parted to the side.”

· Lorenzo, first washed Jennifer’s hair with L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner ($4.99 each)

· For texture and volume, Lorenzo sprayed L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Air-Blown Texture Mist ($4.99) to add body to the blow out

· Using a small round brush, he then blow dried hair in small sections

· Next, Lorenzo sprayed the hair with L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Blow Out Heat Spray ($4.99)

· Using a 1” barrel curling iron, he curled the hair in one direction, pinned it and let cool

· He then added a bit of shine using L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Lustrous Oil Serum ($6.99) on the front and ends of hair

· Lorenzo finished the look by brushing out the hair and setting with L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray ($14.99)

JENNIFER LOPEZ (NAILS)

MANICURIST: L’Oréal Paris Global Manicurist, Tom Bachik

INSPIRATION: “Jennifer wore this really cool yellow dress that was classic and super chic. We were really inspired by this color and because Jennifer’s look was so glamourous, we wanted to keep her nails clean and chic. We chose a deep burgundy red solid nail to compliment the yellow tone of the dress.”

· First, Tom filed nails into a classic round shape

· He next applied L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Nailcolor in Always a Lady ($9.99) to Jennifer’s nails. After dry, Tom applied the top coat side of the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Nailcolor and let dry

· Tom advises maintaining a manicure using L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Facial Oil ($24.99); a drop on each nail 1-2 daily will keep nail color looking fresh and shiny, and cuticles hydrated

JLO (MAKEUP)

MAKEUP ARIST: Mary Phillips for L’Oréal Paris

INSPIRATION: “ If you saw the Giambattista Valli dress, you’ll instantly get old Hollywood glamour with the shape and even the mustardy, marigold color. The cape and the diamonds, it’s perfection. Her skin and that lip color are the hallmarks of this look. It’s very elegant, gorgeous, and beautiful, while still being very modern and today. We’re always experimenting with her looks, and I think that tonight perfectly reflects that, with this classic, old school dose of beauty.”

· Mary first applied Armani Prima Eye and Lip Contour Perfector on the upper eye lid and around all around the mouth and lip, as lips should be just as hydrated as skin

· Next, she created a natural 3D effect by layering sheerer colors of L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation (C5.5 NATURAL TAN, 5.5 Perfect Beige, and W3 Nude Beige -- $16.99)

· She used darker shades in the Infallible Pro Contour Palette ($12.99) in 814 Medium along the jawline, underneath the cheek bones, on the temple and hairline of the forehead and along the nose. The highlighter hue was applied to the center of the forehead, nose, directly above the jawline, and underneath the browbone.

· Mary’s self-proclaimed “holy grail” blush, L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Blush in Spiced Plum C7-8 ($10.99), was added to the apples of cheeks for a fresh pop of color and extra dimension

· On eyelids, with special attention to browbones, is L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eyeshadow Mono in 306 ($5.99). Shade 201 is the backdrop color applied in the crease and 205 is added at the center of the upper lid and along the lower lashline

· She drew a very, very thin line of L’Oréal Paris Infallible Black Velvet Liner ($9.99) on the top lashes only, and concentrated on making the line a little fuller at the ends without “winging out” too much, as that can tend to look costume-y with the rest of the look. Mary finished the liner look by applying L’Oréal Paris Infallible Matte-Matic Liner ($8.99) to the upper and lower lashlines, making sure to get in between lashes to add drama in an understated, “un-heavy” sort of way

· In order to achieve long, lush eyelashes that had the perfect hint of depth that wouldn’t compete in any way with the lip, Mary primed and coated lashes using L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Superstar Mascara ($10.99)

· Mary mixed three lip shades, building up colors in different areas, applying darker colors to the outside of the mouth, and then working her way in. She wanted the lips to be dark but not vampy, and also have dimension and not come across as a one-note color. She customized the lip just for Jennifer using L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss in ROUGE ENVY, NUDE ALLUDE and FORBIDEEN KISS ($9.99) for a very full lip effect, that was neither too wet nor matte

TARAJI P. HENSON
(MAKEUP)

MAKEUP ARTIST: Ashunta Sheriff for L’Oreal Paris

INSPIRATION: “To accentuate Taraji’s white Stella McCartney dress, we decided collectively (as we often do), to go for a clean and fresh look and have it paired with sultry eyes and lips. This look is not only chic, but sexy and effortless; perfect for anyone who wants to play as a goddess for the night.”

· First, Ashunta started with a clean and moisturized canvas and applied the Revitalift Miracle Blur ($24.99) as a primer for a smooth makeup application

· Next, she applied True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation in C5.5 ($16.99) all over her face and neck

· To follow, she gently applied True Match Concealer in Medium/Deep Neutral ($8.95) under brow bones, eyes and down the bridge of the nose to create a natural highlight effect

· To avoid an oily T-zone, Ashunta gently patted on True Match Powder in C6 ($10.95).

· As a first step for the eyes, she applied Colour Riche Eyeshadow in Sunset Seine ($5.99) all over the lid and followed with Colour Riche Eyeshadow in Café Au Lait ($5.99) on the creases only

· For a dramatic lash, she applied three coats of Voluminous Superstar Red Carpet Mascara ($10.99) on both the bottom and top lashes. “It's a two-step mascara that creates sexy full, thick lashes in the blackest of black shades.”

· She lined both the upper and lower lash lines (staying out of the watermark) using Infallible Black Velvet Liner ($9.99). “This really outlines Taraji’s beautiful almond-shaped eyes and makes them stand out.”

· Once the eyes were all set, Ashunta moved on to cheeks, gently applying Visible Lift Blur Blush in Soft Pink ($12.99) using her fingers onto the apples of cheeks for a dewy and fresh result

· She outlined Taraji’s lips using Colour Riche Lip Liner ($8.48) and finished filling in with Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss in Bare Attraction ($9.99)

· Her last and final “red carpet ready” step was to spritz Infallible Makeup Setting Spray ($16.99) for a long lasting finish

BRIE LARSON
(HAIR)

HAIRSTYLIST: L’Oréal Paris Celebrity Hairstylist, Mara Roszak

INSPIRATION: “I really wanted Brie’s hair to have an elegant, feminine feel, but still look fresh and young – because she is. We knew we wanted to style her hair down to accentuate the shape of the dress. We chose to go with a sleeker top, with a little bit of a wave at the bottom. The goal was to achieve a gorgeous, healthy hair look with high shine.”

· After washing with Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner ($4.99 each), Mara prepped the hair with Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Nourish Lustrous Oil Serum ($6.99) all over and then parted Brie’s hair to the side

· Next, she blow dried the hair with a round brush to create a smooth look

· After hair was dry, Mara pin curled the bottom and let them set for a few minutes before gently brushing them out

· With a 1 ½ inch curling iron, she curled the hair up to the bottom of the ear lobes

· Next, Mara again brushed out the curls and applied Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Strand-Smoother Serum Spray ($4.99) and a tiny bit of Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Transforming Oil-in-Cream ($6.99) for added shine

· The look was finished with Elnett Satin Hairspray Extra Strong Hold ($14.99)

OLIVIA WILDE
(HAIR)

HAIRSTYLIST: L’Oréal Paris Celebrity Hairstylist, Mara Roszak

INSPIRATION: “Olivia’s look was all about modern and sexy, but with a little bit of a twist. To best complement her dress, we wanted to keep hair behind the shoulders, so thought a super cool, effortless low ponytail was the way to go.”

· Mara washed Olivia’s hair using Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner ($4.99 each)

· Next, hair was prepped with Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Blow Out HeatSpray ($4.99) and rough dried

· Once hair was dry, Mara used a 1 ¼ curling iron to wave Olivia’s hair

· Next, she applied Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray ($4.99) and used fingers to break up the waves

· Mara then gathered hair into a low ponytail, pulling hair apart a bit and wrapping a piece of hair around the ponytail; she pulled a few pieces out to frame the face

· To lock in the look, Mara sprayed all over with Elnett Satin Hairspray Extra Strong Hold ($14.99)

HEIDI KLUM
(NAILS)

MANICURIST: L’Oréal Paris Global Manicurist, Tom Bachik

INSPIRATION: “Red was all the rage for nails on the carpet this week. We wanted to give Heidi a pop of color on her nails, so went with a bright red shade to complement her look.”

· First, Tom filed nails into a classic round shape

· He next applied L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Nailcolor in Red Infallible ($9.99) to Heidi’s nails.

Heidi Klum: Nails by Celebrity Manicurist Tom Bachik for L' Oreal Paris

Tom Bachik can do no wrong! I have become rather friendly on Social Media with both Tom and his wonderful family and, of course, watched him as a judge on Oxygen's show Nail'd It. I admire his work and love what he does with L'Oreal Paris in terms of creating new colors and new product collaborations. It was only natural that I wanted to show him some love after seeing he was doing Heidi Klum's nails last night...hello to her wonderful Make Up Artist Linda Hay, too (we go way back)!

Heidi Klum (NAILS)

MANICURIST: L’Oréal Paris Global Manicurist, Tom Bachik

INSPIRATION: “Heidi wore a beautiful yellow Versace gown and to allow it to own center stage, we kept her nails simple. She’s gearing up for a trip overseas, so we shaped her nails shorter than they’ve been recently – Heidi loves having gorgeous long nails – and polished them cleanly so that the look would last not only for Emmys night, but wear nicely into the next week or two.”

STEP 1: First, Tom filed nails into a classic round shape.

STEP 2: He next applied two coats of L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail ($5.99), allowing her natural nail to be slightly visible through the sheer hue.

STEP 3: Tom advises maintaining a manicure using L’Oréal Paris Glow Renewal Facial Oil ($24.99); a drop on each nail 1-2 daily will keep nail color looking fresh and shiny, and cuticles hydrated.

L' Oreal Paris: Experts Guide To Choosing Flattering Colors This Winter

First let me start by saying that I often call the L'Oreal Paris color hotline as I have been known to color my hair the wrong shade or tone when I get the sudden itch to do it on my own. Just a few months back, I decided to try a new color and went a silvery grey, that was beautiful, only I used it on my bangs and my hair looked ridiculous when worn down.

Choosing the most flattering hair color, nail polish and lipstick can be a challenge. Skin tone fluctuates throughout the year, so a color that looks phenomenal in the summer could easily make you look tired and washed out in the winter.

Fortunately for us all, L’Oréal Paris experts Kari Hill, Tom Bachik (yes, my daughter and I have been watching Tom as a judge on the Oxygen show "Nail'd It" for weeks) and Billy B.
share some tips on how to choose the most flattering shades along with product recommendations.

Kari Hill, L’Oréal Paris Consulting Hair Colorist

Tip: Instead of using the face, I look at the forearm to determine a more precise and unaffected matching of skin tone. When choosing hair color, in addition to skin tone, you should also consider your natural eye color, present choice of makeup, desired maintenance/upkeep and the time of year.

Cool haircolor tones look best on skin with cool undertones, which can be blue or pink on fair skin to even an olive undertone for darker. On fair skin, L’Oréal Paris Mousse Absolue in Lightest Icy Blonde ($14.99- below) or Feria Absolute Platinum ($9.99- below) typically look great. For darker skin, consider L’Oréal Paris Mousse Absolue Icy Dark Brown ($14.99- below) or Superior Preference Luminere Black Sapphire ($9.99)

Warm haircolor tones look best on skin with golden or yellow undertones, regardless of dark or light skin. Some at-home hair color options that look good on warm skin tones include, L’Oréal Paris Mousse Absolue Lightest Golden Blonde ($14.99), L’Oréal Paris Excellence Crème Medium Golden Blonde($8.99) or L’Oréal Paris Feria Dark Gold Blonde ($9.99).

Neutral toned haircolor is the closest tone that could complement a wide variety of skin tones. I liken a neutral color to the tone of a child’s hair. Here are some haircolor options for accommodating varied skin tones: L’Oréal Paris Mousse Absolute Pure Dark Blonde ($14.99), Feria Very Light Natural Blonde ($9.99) or Superior Preference Natural Blonde.

Tom Bachik, L’Oréal Paris Global Nail Artist

Tip: When choosing nail shades, keep it simple and think in warm or cool tones. The easiest way is to look on the underside of your arms. If your veins are mostly purple in tone, then you’re more cool skin toned. If your veins are mostly greenish in tone, then you’re more warm skin toned. Another tip – think about the colors you like to wear and the same palette will likely work for nail shades.

For cool skin tones look at rich berries (L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail in Violet Vixen -below), deep purples (L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail in Paparazzi Pleaser) and Bright Blues (L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail in Not a Cloud in Sight-below).

For warm skin tones, I like burnt reds (L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail in Red Tote, $5.99), warm dusty rose tones (L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail in Spice Things Up, $5.99- below) and rich corals (L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail in Tangerine Crush, $5.99- below).

Tip: When it comes to choosing a good lip color, I not only look at skin tone, but also pay attention to eye color, hair color and what my clients are wearing.

Darker skin tones – Bold, rich colors like burgundy, browns (L’Oréal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lipcolour Compact, $11.99) berry colors (L’Oréal Paris Infallible Le Rouge in Enduring Berry, $9.99- below) and deep reds (L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Glossy Balm in Petite Plum, $7.99- below)

P.S.- The L' Oreal Paris Genius apps are, well....GENIUS! HAIR GENIUS, COLOR GENIUS and MAKEUP GENIUS are incredibly fun and helpful to use as the apps allow you to change your look. I especially get a kick out of the Makeup Genius app as I could have not a stitch of makeup on and take pics and look like I am ready to attend a party or have a girls night out on the town. It is simply amazing as it works like a virtual makeover and truly reads your face beforehand.
