LOOK: “Tucked but untucked.”

GET THE LOOK:

· Part the hair a bit off center or how the hair naturally falls

· To prep the hair, add 2-3 pumps of PHYTO Professional Intense Volume Mousse with fingers to create texture. Blow dry with BaBylissPRO® Rapidothroughout hair

· Straighten the front of the hair with BaBylissPRO® Nano Titanium™ 1” Ultra-Thin Flatiron and leave the bottom half of the hair undone for more texture to work with

· Then, for the long hair, create a low knotted twisted bun and tie with an elastic band. For shorter hair, it will naturally fall

· Spray all over hair with PHYTO Phytolaque Soie Finishing Spray for light hold finish

· Finish with PHYTOPhytokeratine Extreme Exceptional Cream for fly aways

INSPIRATION: Desert, Post-Apocalyptic Warrior

GET THE LOOK: HAIR

· Prep the hair with Phytovolume Actif Volumizing Spray and rough dry it in. The goal is to get added volume and texture into the hair.

· Roughly go through the hair section by section, adding in the Phyto Professional Matte Texturizing Paste. This will give the hair the tackiness to hold the look together.

· Divide the hair into five sections: one at the top, one on each side and two in the back.

· Within each of these sections, pull the hair back and tie the hair into square knots. The result will look like a knot-braid, which will be secured with an elastic hair band at the end.

· Finish by misting Phytolaque Soie Hairspray to keep in place.


GET THE LOOK: SKINCARE

· Prep the skin by lightly misting the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mistto tone. Apply a layer of the Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue Soothing Moisturizing Cream moisturizer on the skin. Prep the lips by dabbing on the Jurlique Rose Love Balm.

· Additional product for addressing specific skincare concerns per model include: Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Firming Face Oil, Jurlique Rose Moisture Replenishing Day Cream, Jurlique Herbal Recovery Advanced Eye Serum, Jurlique Purely Bright Eye Correcting Cream, Jurlique Lavender Silk Finishing Powder.


GET THE LOOK: MAKEUP

· To create a smooth and perfect canvas, apply the bareMinerals Pure Brightening Serum Foundation to the skin, followed by a dusting of the bareMinerals Original Foundation.

· Color in the brows with the bareMinerals Frame & Define Brow Styler. Use the built-in brush to groom the brows upwards.

· To lightly mute the lips, apply a little foundation on top of the Jurlique Rose Love Balm.

· LOOK 1

To create the graphic black/messy and “lived-in” eye look, apply the bareMinerals Round the Clock Intense Cream-Glide Eyeliner over the entire eye lid and extend slightly outward into a wing. This is meant to appear messy and move around a bit.

Apply multiple coats of the bareMinerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara on the top lashes.

· LOOK 2

Lightly dust the bareMinerals Ready Bronzer that’s mixed with a taupe shade from the bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 Palette in Power Neutrals in the crease to create a soft halo of color. Then create graphic shapes using the bareMinerals Blue Eyecolor Eyeshadow in Snowflake while wet and bareMinerals Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner in black in the corner of the eyes.

· LOOK 3

On one eye, use the bareMinerals Liner Shadow in Onyx wet with the very fine tipped bareMinerals Gorgeous Glide Liner Brush to wrap around the eye into a wing, also bringing it to a point in the inner corner and slightly under the bottom inner corner. No mascara will be used for this look.

Use bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lip Liner in Energized to create a line above black liner.

On the other eye apply the black liner, extending both inward and outward, and then use the peach- tone to add a circle under the eye for a pop of abstract color.

· LOOK 4

This very natural looks was created by using a mix of the bareMinerals Ready Bronzer and taupe shades from bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 Palette in Power Neutrals for subtle definition on the eyes and cheeks.


GET THE LOOK: NAILS

· The manicures will have a lighter custom blend of Nonie Creme Colour Prevails Nail Lacquer in Frenemy and Nonie Creme Colour Prevails Nail Lacquer in Wardrobe Staple while the pedicures will have a darker blend.

One of my last posts regarding NYFW! Again, featuring one of my dream teams with James Pecis, Romy Soleimani and Nonie Creme for J. Mendel. Just look at this hair, loving it!

INSPIRATION: French Vogue 70’s Woman 

GET THE LOOK: HAIR

· Part clean hair to the left side

· From the crown of the head moving towards the back, pull hair into a low ponytail, leaving free sections on both sides of the head

· Section by section, use PHYTO Professional Wet Gel to saturate the hair inside of the ponytail to create a smooth and sleek look

· Use the PHYTO Professional Wet Gel again to saturate the hair on either side of the head

· Comb and blowdry the hair in the front section to the right, using cold air to create wave

· Twist both sections of hair on either side of the head away from the face and towards the ponytail

· Separate the ponytail into two pieces and twist into a rope braid while using PHYTO 9 to smooth the strands.

· Secure the rope braid and twist it into a chignon

· Finish with PHYTO Phytolaque Soie Hairspray and PHYTOHuile Soyeuse Lightweight Hydrating Oil for added shine

Get The Look: James Pecis for Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring /Summer 2015 Fashion Show with PHYTO and T3

Get The Look:

1. Prep: Section by section, spray PHYTO PROFESSIONAL WORKABLE HOLDING SPRAY from roots to ends and blow dry with T3 FEATHERWEIGHT LUXE 2I DRYER. The goal is to “over-dry” the hair for a fluffy, almost static-electricity texture.

2. Make a deep part in the hair on the right side, swooping the hair across the forehead. Add PHYTO PHYTOLAQUIE LIGHT HOLD HAIR SPRAY at the parting. Using it on just the part will give this element a super clean, graphic finish.

3. Some of the models were seen wearing a piece of white lace-inspired material, handcrafted by show stylist Victoria Simes- as you can see in the photos, those who wore one had it aligned at the part as an accent.

4. For the knot in the back, divide the hair into four quadrants. With the top section held apart, take the left and right sections and tie a knot.

5. After the knot is secure, drop the top section over the knot and tie another knot on top using the same right and left section ends to hold everything in place.

6. A stitch through the hair below the knot with elastic “thread” keeps movement minimal in the rest of the hair.

7. PHYTO PROFESSIONAL WORKABLE HOLDING SPRAY is then applied to finish the look.
