Get The Look: Saoirse Ronan's Tresses

The Look: Sultry, youthful and voluminous

The Inspiration: Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel was inspired by the construction and details of the Calvin Klein dress. "I wanted to give her an undone, textured blowout with a brushed out beautiful wave hand raked back away from the face,” he says.

How to Get the Look:
  • He started by applying JohnFrieda® Luxurious Volume Perfectly Full™ Mousse all over the roots on towel dried hair. He then air-dried the hair with 100% cold air to achieve maximum volume.
  • Then using a medium sized round brush, he dried the hair applying hot air to form the style.
  • Then he divided the hair in two-inch sections and wrapped each section into a Velcro roller allowing it cool and set. He did this throughout the entire head.
  • Before removing the rollers, he sprayed John Frieda® Luxurious Volume Forever Full™ Hairspray to set the look. He then removed the rollers, applying more spray to a Mason Pearson brush and brushed the hair into soft textured sexy waves.
  • He then backcombed the front pieces of hair to create height for a sexy sultry side swept effect.
  • To finish, he misted John Frieda Luxurious Volume Forever Full™ Hairspray to lock in the style for the night.

Get The Look: Reese Witherspoon, Hair by Adir Abergel for L'Oreal Paris

Gracing the cover of Glamour February 2015 is one of my favorite actors, Reese Witherspoon. I have admired her for years and her style and grace have always been simply beautiful. That smile of hers seems to light up a room, too!

Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel for L’Oreal Paris created Reese Witherspoon’s 1960’s inspired hair look at last night’s premiere of “Inherent Vice.” Included below are Adir’s inspiration and step-by-step tips on how to recreate Reese’s look.

Get The Look: Anne Hathaway by Celebrity Hairstylist Adir Abergel

I have been seeing the ever so gorgeous actress on a daily basis as she graces November's cover of Harper's Bazaar and think Anne Hathaway has never looked more beautiful than she does at this very moment. With that being said, Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel created the look for Anne Hathaway's red carpet premiere of ‘Interstellar’ using Leonor Greyl products last night.

“I was inspired for the look by the midnight blue silk dress by Richard Nicoll and James Bank jewelry that she’s wearing.  It reminded me of the girls in the early 90’s that wore those great slip dresses.  I wanted to keep the look deconstructed to keep the same energy since the dress is flowing, so I created a look with effortless texture and movement with a 90’s edge.

First, I started by applying Leonor Greyl Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice from the roots to midshaft to create volume and memory to the style.  I didn’t apply any mousse to the ends of her hair to keep the weight around the structure of the head, right around the roots.  Then, I created a deep side part following the arch of her brow. I applied Éclat Naturel on the ends to give it a little more separation but at the same time protect the hair from heat styling and then used a diffuser to dry her hair completely, making sure to scrunch the hair so that the natural texture came through.

Once her hair was completely dry, I used a 3/4” curling iron and created a soft, defined wave by winding it around the iron.  The secret to this kind of look is to curl from the roots to the midshaft, leaving the ends out.  It’s really about just creating movement and a very loose wave, rather than a curl.  This adds amazing texture and separation to give it that effortless style.

I readjusted the deep side part so that it came down and covered half of one eyebrow; it really gave it that 90’s edge.

I finished the look by using Leonor Greyl Laque Souple.  This will lock in the style all night without weighing it down.

The beautiful thing about Leonor Greyl products is that they’re all about healthy, beautiful texture.  Back in the 90’s it was rougher and more bedhead, so the look still has the angles of the 90’s, but I modernized it by using these quality products that brought out the health and shine of the hair.”

Recreate the Look: Hair by Adir for Nicola Peltz

Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel created the look for Nicola Peltz last night using Leonor Greyl products for the red carpet premiere of ‘Affluenza’.

“First start out by prepping the hair with Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle from roots to ends on towel dried hair to protect the hair from heat and to create extra volume. Condition Naturelle is really an incredible product because it creates pliability yet at the same time gives an incredible amount of volume, which is very hard to get. I love that it’s not only hydrating but volumizing at the same time, you don’t find that with a lot of products that are heat protecting.”

Then, to make extra height stay all night, add Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice at the roots before blow drying the hair smooth with a round brush. I made sure to create a deep side part to give it a more modern vibe. A great trick is to place the deep side part at the highest arch of your brow.

After blow drying the section of hair, take a medium size Velcro roller and wrap the hair around it. Continue this technique until you have all your hair in Velcro rollers on the entire head. Once the Velcro rollers have cooled down, remove them all and make sure you accentuate the deep side parting. This will give it the more mod look.

Then take the crown area and tease the hair making sure you get that Bridget Bardot bump at the crown. Lock the height with Leonor Greyl Laque Soupleand then pull the opposite side of the hair (the side that doesn’t have the deep part) back off the face almost into a half updo and pin it in place with three big bobby pins.

To finish the look, take a few random pieces around the front with a large curling iron and break up the texture by creating a soft wave. Follow it by spraying some Laque Souple for all night hold. Don’t worry if it feels a bit deconstructed. The texture will make it feel young and cool.”
