Caudalie and The National Forest Foundation: "Post One, Plant One" Campaign Begins Tomorrow!

I had to post this tonight to get you fully prepped and ready for tomorrow's initiative brought to you by Caudalie and the National Forest Foundation. Remember to use the hashtag #BeautyGrows when snapping a picture of your favorite holiday tree on Instagram! Read on to see what happens when you do so...

Just in time for the holidays, Caudalie is announcing a new charitable partnership with The National Forest Foundation. The brand has committed to planting 80,000 U.S. trees in 2015.

The “Post One, Plant One” campaign empowers users to post an Instagram photo of their favorite holiday tree using #BeautyGrows. In turn, a tree will be planted on their behalf.

The campaign will run from December 10th, through January 15th. Customers can find more information at Caudalie.com/beautygrows.

The Background and Initiative:

The National Forest Foundation (NFF) is proud to announce a new partnership with Caudalie, a beauty brand committed to creating products that are not only effective, but also natural and luxurious.

Through Caudalie’s “Post One, Plant One” campaign, users who post a photo of their favorite holiday tree on Instagram using #BeautyGrows, the brand’s tagline, will have a tree planted on their behalf. In collaboration with the NFF, Caudalie has committed to planting 80,000 trees in 2015 in the Chippewa National Forest. These mixed conifer trees will provide nesting habitat for bald eagles and will help restore the headwaters of the Mississippi River.

“Caudalie’s business is based on quality and a belief in a greener planet and more committed cosmetics; this passion is infused into their products,” said Bill Possiel, NFF president.

“This partnership demonstrates Caudalie’s commitment to giving back to the Earth a little of what it gives us every day. We are thrilled to be working with the NFF to restore America’s National Forests, as supporting reforestation is a key pillar of our brand’s ‘cosm-ethics.’ Our products are blended of natural ingredients, efficacious formulas, and eco-friendly practices.

Planting trees is a natural extension of our environmental commitment,” said Mathilde Thomas, Caudalie Co-founder.

The National Forest Foundation (National Forests.org) is a Congressionally-chartered, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the U.S. Forest Service in caring for our 193-million-acre National Forest System. Caudalie’s support of this project marks an expansion of the NFF’s Trees for US program, which is reforesting high priority areas of the National Forest System. The native, mixed conifer trees will be planted in 2015.

So be sure to snap a picture of your favorite holiday tree on Instagram and use the hashtag #BeautyGrows and there will be a tree planted on your behalf!
