Celeb make-up artist Kelly Cornwell, whose clients include Alicia Vikander who just won Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars, reveals her red carpet secrets.

What are your skincare secrets to get celebs ready for red carpet events?
Prepping skin for the red carpet is all about adding moisture and illuminating. First I use the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, $60 to cleanse the skin and remove all traces of makeup and impurities. This really helps soften the skin and prepare it for makeup. I always follow with a nourishing mask, like Exotic Cream Moisturizing Mask, $77which contains honey and mimosa, and makes such a difference to the finish of the makeup, and helps products go on so smoothly. I then finish with an illuminating primer, Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm, $60 is light reflective without being sparkly, to achieve the perfect red-carpet glow.

The Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, $128, the texture is so light but it is such an intensely moisturizing formula it sits really well under makeup and creates a dewiness.
